Keith L.T. Wright is the founder of Wright Strategies, LLC, where he provides government relations consulting services to Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP.

As a former Assemblyman representing Harlem for 23 years in the New York State Legislature, Mr. Wright draws on his extensive experience to advise clients on matters before the city or state. During his tenure, he held key leadership positions, including Chair of the Committees on Housing, Election Law, Social Services, and Labor. He was also a leading voice on the Equal Economic Opportunity and Human Rights subcommittee, advocating for domestic workers and enhancing benefits for senior citizens. His leadership on the Public Housing subcommittee underscored his commitment to protecting the rights of public housing residents.

Mr. Wright’s legislative career also included chairing the Black, Puerto Rican, and Hispanic Legislative Caucus and participating in the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Force. His active engagement in Harlem has driven small business development, expanded affordable housing, and promoted youth opportunities. As chairman of the Harlem Community Development Corporation, he played a significant role in fostering community growth.

Before joining the Assembly, Mr. Wright held positions in New York City’s Human Resources Administration, the Manhattan Borough President’s Office, and the New York City Transit Authority.

As a legislative leader, he played a key role in passing the Help America Vote Act, raising the minimum wage, expanding public assistance grants, and creating jobs through the Career Pathways Program and the MTA Small Business Mentoring Program.
During his time chairing the Assembly Housing Committee, Mr. Wright oversaw a package of legislation preserving Mitchell-Lama housing, expanded protections for tenants, and secured a billion-dollar increase in bonding authority for affordable housing development in New York City.

A lifelong Harlem resident, Mr. Wright has been at the forefront of community development, supporting the construction of affordable housing and promoting small businesses through his leadership in the Harlem Community Development Corporation.
